REMOTE VISUAL CONSULTATION

A knowledgeable guide.
Right there on your phone.

WHY BUYERS USE IT

An extra set of trained eyes when the showing moves quickly.

A showing can be busy: you are evaluating the layout, asking questions and imagining daily life in the home. A live consultation adds focused inspection perspective to the conversation.

NOTICE

Slow down on visible details.

We can help direct the camera toward selected accessible areas and visible conditions that are easy to pass over during a short showing.

UNDERSTAND

Turn observations into questions.

We explain what is visible, identify practical follow-up questions and help you decide when a full in-person inspection or qualified specialist may be appropriate.

DECIDE

Move forward with better context.

Without another trained perspective, a buyer may leave with unanswered questions about an apparent concern—or assume a quick visual impression tells the whole story. We help keep the conversation grounded in what can and cannot be seen.

This service is not a diagnosis, written inspection report or guarantee that a property is free of defects. Concealed, inaccessible and out-of-scope conditions still require the appropriate inspection or evaluation.

SIMPLE FROM THE START

Three steps to a more informed conversation.

01 / CONFIRM

Tell us about the property.

We confirm the location, scope, inspector, fee, video platform and appointment. Tell us you are requesting a Live Buyer Walkthrough so we can match you with Cainen, Tom or Chris.

02 / CONNECT

Show us what you see.

You or your authorized agent joins from the property. With permission to access the home and the agreement completed, we guide a safe, steady camera view.

03 / UNDERSTAND

Ask better next questions.

Discuss selected visible conditions and when an in-person inspection or further evaluation may be useful. Our comments are limited to the live view.

A STEADIER VIEW HELPS

We will guide the phone.

Clean the lens, charge your phone and check the connection before the call. Use the rear camera, hold the phone horizontally with both hands, and start with a wide view. Bring a high-quality flashlight for dark utility areas, basements or service spaces. Pause while we look, then move closer only where safe.

For a component, show its surroundings first, then the visible detail and a readable label if requested. Remain on safe walking surfaces. Leave electrical covers, equipment, valves, ladders, attics and crawlspaces alone.

KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BOOKING

Your questions, answered.

Does this replace a home inspection?

No. This is a limited remote visual consultation. It does not replace a comprehensive in-person inspection, establish concealed conditions, or provide a written inspection report. Explore our residential inspection service when you need a full inspection.

Which video app will we use?

We agree on the platform beforehand. Options may include FaceTime, Messenger, Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp video, subject to availability and a suitable connection.

Can my agent hold the phone?

Yes. Your identified, authorized on-site participant can guide the phone. Property access and listing-side permission must be arranged, and the buyer and participating agent complete the applicable agreement and acknowledgment before the call.

Can we record the consultation?

Recording, screenshots, screen capture and redistribution are prohibited without TMK’s prior written permission and all required consent. You may take ordinary notes.

What happens if the connection is poor?

We may pause, reschedule or end the consultation when the view or sound is insufficient. We discuss any rescheduling and fee treatment with you based on the circumstances.

LET US CONFIRM THE DETAILS

Start with a conversation.

Request a Live Buyer Walkthrough and tell us the property location, preferred time and who will be on site. We confirm availability and pricing before finalizing the appointment.

Request a live walkthrough

An online request is not an automatic booking. Meet your inspectors or explore the full inspection process.

CONTINUING SUPPORT

Questions after the walkthrough?

We remain available for practical follow-up questions about what TMK observed during your walkthrough and how to organize next steps. Questions involving negotiations, contracts, repairs or legal matters should be directed to your agent or the appropriate qualified professional.

Support is limited to the agreed walkthrough scope and does not create an unlimited consulting or inspection service.

CLEAR BEFORE WE CONNECT

Signing and payment.

Before the walkthrough, TMK sends the agreement for electronic signature through the approved HomeGauge workflow. The buyer signs, and any agent or on-site participant who will attend or hold the phone completes the participant acknowledgment. The walkthrough is not confirmed until TMK confirms the property, scope, participants, fee, platform and appointment.

Payment is arranged before the appointment by Venmo, Apple Cash, or credit card through Square. Square credit-card payments include a 3% processing fee. Ask us for the payment instructions when your appointment is confirmed.
